EDUCATION

Our Objective for 2035: To ensure that 80 million individuals have equitable access to and control over economic resources and opportunities.

Globally, approximately 131 million girls are deprived of educational opportunities, with girls being 50% more likely than boys to miss out on schooling. This educational disparity extends into adulthood, where only 55% of women participate in paid employment compared to 78% of men.

Economic inequality imposes significant costs worldwide. According to the World Bank, gender-based workplace inequality could result in a loss of $160 trillion to the global economy—an amount equivalent to twice the world’s total annual gross domestic product.

Restricted access to financial services further exacerbates these challenges. Currently:

- 1.7 billion adults lack access to a bank account, of whom 1 billion are women.
- In 72 countries, legal barriers prevent women from opening bank accounts or obtaining credit.
- Violence against women, both within and outside the workplace, incurs an economic cost of $1.5 trillion globally.

HUMANITARIAN AID CARE FOUNDATION is actively addressing these issues by enhancing access to education, financial resources, and dignified employment opportunities for women and girls.
