Women play a crucial role in smallholder agriculture globally. They are responsible for food production, support their families, and enhance their local economies. HUMANITARIAN CARE FOUNDATION aids women farmers by acknowledging their vital contributions and eliminating obstacles that hinder their potential.

Women engaged in agriculture encounter numerous difficulties. They:

- Are frequently compensated less than men for their work
- Bear a greater share of household duties
- Are often sidelined from significant decision-making processes
- Are insufficiently represented in agricultural organizations.

This situation implies that despite their capacity to contribute more significantly to feeding their families, shaping their futures, and fostering stronger communities, they frequently lack the opportunity.
